CM3 Consultancy takes the estimating burden away from contractors and business owners, allowing internal teams to focus on operations and delivery.We prepare detailed, bespoke and site‑specific tender bids, returned within required deadlines and agreed on a fixed fee basis. Each bid is reviewed and fully interrogated before submission, working collaboratively with the contractor to ensure pricing is realistic, risks are understood and opportunities are identified.This approach improves bid quality and reduces the likelihood of underpriced or high‑risk work being secured.
Once work is secured, CM3 Consultancy provides ongoing commercial management support during the construction period.This includes administering variations, supporting applications for extensions of time, managing subcontractor accounts and reviewing applications for payment. We also attend site as required and liaise with clients, their quantity surveyors or monitoring surveyors to agree interim valuations and resolve commercial issues.Our involvement helps maintain cash flow, reduces dispute risk and ensures that work completed is fairly valued.
Beyond tender pricing, CM3 provides detailed cost planning and contract sum analysis to support commercial decision making.This includes breaking down costs into clear packages, identifying exposure within specifications or preliminaries, and reviewing subcontractor pricing to ensure value and alignment with programme. The aim is to ensure the contract sum is properly understood before commitment and remains controlled throughout the project lifecycle
