One to One Guidance Before You Commit

Building your own home or undertaking a major refurbishment involves decisions that are difficult to reverse once construction starts.

The Self‑Build and Private Client Masterclass is a one hour, one to one online session designed to help you understand where projects commonly go wrong, what risks you are carrying, and what level of professional support may be appropriate for your scheme.

It is a paid session, priced at £100, and is intended to give clarity before you commit to design decisions, construction contracts or professional appointments.

What the Masterclass Is

The Masterclass is a structured conversation with an experienced construction consultant.
During the session, we talk through your project, your current position and the decisions you are facing. We explain, in plain English, how cost planning, procurement and project management work on private residential projects, and where the common mistakes tend to occur.
This is not a generic presentation. It is specific to your project and your concerns.

The Masterclass is designed for private clients and self‑builders who are planning:

  • A new self‑build home
  • A major refurbishment or extension
  • A high value residential project where cost and risk matter

It is particularly useful if you feel uncertain, are early in the process, or want an independent view before committing further time or money.

By the end of the Masterclass, you should have a clearer understanding of:

  • industry best practices
  • advice from a construction expert with 35 years experience
  • a bespoke Q and A session tailored to resolve any concerns and worries you may have before commencing with your project

Some clients use the session simply to sense‑check their plans. Others go on to appoint CM3 Consultancy for further support. There is no obligation either way.
